Yeah, sure. You like Airport Hotels. My wife and I love our cancelled flights in Newark, NJ because that is high rolling right there. At least you won’t oversleep with the jets grumbling the alarm clock off the nightstand.
Interesting article this week featured in the Post and Courier that originated in the New York Times (written by Martha White):
“The airport hotel, that bastion of utility and convenience for marooned travelers, is having a banner year. In the first four months of 2014, hotels in the United States situated near airports sold a collective 27.2 million rooms, a record, according to the hotel research company STR.”
You can read the full article below, but I say many more people prefer staying away from the airport especially if they want to catch a glimpse of the city they are visiting even if for business purposes.
