SEATTLE, Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) announced today plans to open a Nordstrom Rack at Bowman Place in Mount Pleasant, S.C. The approximately 33,500-square-foot store is scheduled to open in fall 2015. Bowman Place is owned and managed byCharleston based Grove Property Fund LLC.

The new Rack store will be a part of a total renovation of the former Kmart center and will be located just off Johnnie Dodds Boulevard and I-526.

“We have been looking for more opportunities to serve customers in South Carolina and we’re excited to bring a Nordstrom Rack closer to home for customers in Mount Pleasant,” said Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack. “Bowman Place is an excellent location and we look forward to opening our doors next fall.”
